How TripSynced works, and what it does not do yet
Open a trip, go to Participants, and either invite by email or share a link. People you invite by email can RSVP straight from the message without creating an account — they only need one when they want to open the trip itself.
Ask them to check spam first. Failing that, use Share instead: it produces a link you can send through any chat app, and it works the same way.
No — a share link works for 14 days and cannot be revoked. You can remove someone from the Participants tab, but they could rejoin using the same link. Only share it with people you would invite by name.
Reminders that need a decision — a vote closing, a payment due, a task due or overdue — are always emailed. Everything else is optional push notification, which you can turn on in Settings. The aim is that an email always means something needs you.
Not per person, no. They follow a fixed schedule: three days before, one day before, and once more the day after something falls overdue.
Add an expense and choose who it covers. TripSynced tracks who paid what and, at the end, suggests the smallest set of payments that settles everyone up. It does not move any money — you settle however you normally would.
The organizer — the person who created it. Everyone on the trip can vote, comment, claim tasks and add expenses.
